What is the Texas Working Dog Assn of Greater Houston?

The Texas Working Dog Association focuses on the unique characteristics of the dogs in the AKC Working Group. In addition to conformation and obedience competition, this group seeks to expand the public's knowledge of the working functions of our breeds, and the purposes for which the breeds originated. The club will provide opportunities for those interested in the dogs of the Working Group to explore all facets of life with their chosen working breed.

Backpacking, water trials, agility, obedience, carting, sledding, and conformation to name a few activities where Working Dogs compete.

The Texas Working Dog Assn meets the 4th Wednesday of the month at the Bear Creek Community Center, 7:00 pm.
